How did you get started in the field of visual effects?
My brother was taking an animation course while I was in college. I used to help with his assignments, and that’s how I got interested in this field.
The main values of Atomics are creativity, innovation, collaboration and compassion. Which one do you most identify with?
I’d say innovation and compassion.
Can you tell us about one of your favorite shots? Why is it special to you, and how did you contribute?
There are a few, but one that stands out is from The Creator. It was a completely manual camera shot with rotoanim — something I had never done before. I learned new techniques, surprised myself, and completed it without any kickbacks.
What is something about you that people might be surprised to know?
Probably my age — I look younger than I actually am,
and most people don’t believe it!If you could switch jobs with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?
I wouldn’t switch — my job is the best!
What do you like most about Bangalore/Mumbai/London?
Mumbai is home. No matter where I go or how beautiful a place is, I always end up feeling homesick. Apart from that, Mumbai feels safe and secure.

Andaz Apna Apna.
What’s your favorite superhero character? If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
I like Hermione.
Not exactly a superpower, but I’d love to have her Time Turner — so I could balance work and life, travel as much as I want, and still show up at work on time.I need both, and I need money!
If you had to name a colleague who inspires you, who would it be?
Sushant (Ghate) sir’s calm, solution-focused approach and Reena’s (Durgule) confident leadership inspire me.
Both embody resilience, respect, and excellence in their work.In one sentence, describe the vibe of the office on a Friday afternoon?

• Lage Raho Munna BhaiWhat’s the funniest or most memorable mistake you’ve made at work?
I completed all my work but, saved the file without checking its path.
The next day, I couldn’t find it — I must have saved it in temp or somewhere random. Had to redo everything!Words of wisdom for freshers joining the industry?
